Ebony Peaks

A FLINTA* rope team and their first 4,000 meter peak: Five people stand 200 meters below the summit of the Bishorn in Switzerland. They have a difficult decision to make—should they keep fighting their way up or is it time to pack it in?
The filmmaker Tsellot Melesse founded Black Canary, a FLINTA* community for people of colour, and wants to give her crew from Berlin the opportunity to discover high mountains and ascend several hundred verts for the first time in their lives. Along with Maria, Helen, and Hanna, Tsellot sets out for the Bishorn (4,151 m). But, as the saying goes, "It's not an adventure until something goes wrong."
